I'd like a WHOPPER no cheese, please!

Just a quick update on our growth ultrasound yesterday...
As background, I am having two growth ultrasounds in the third trimester because the blood pressure medicine I am taking can cause intrauterine growth retardation (in other words -- SMALL babies). When the u/s tech told me this, I just laughed because I took this medicine when pregnant with Grace (who weighed in at 8 lbs, 9 ounces at 36 weeks).

Anyway....most babies at 33 weeks weigh a little over 4 lbs. Our Noah is weighing in at (drum roll please)...

5 lbs, 14 ounces (which, by the way, is off the charts in terms of percentiles)

On top of that, I have a lot of fluid again. Not polyhydramnios yet (which I had with Grace at the end), but still a pretty high level. The combination of these two things help explain why I'm feeling so miserable (so now I don't feel so bad about complaining!)

We're still working under the assumption that he will be delivered on April 5, but the combination of large baby and excess fluid does increase the chances that I will go into labor before then (and in that case they would do the c-section whenever I went into labor). Stay tuned...
